I will meet you in the morning by the honeysuckle sweet
I will be there where the poppies grow, to bid honor our retreat
I will bring with me thy gifts, those treasured just for you
I will bathe myself in fragrances of lavender and dew
I will but all forget the promises Ive cherished for so long
I will surrender to your bounty of rhyme and tender song
We will play among the lilies and love among the fruit
Upon the wings of benevolence I pay you loves tribute
