From The Inside Out

Contributed by saveMEfromMYSELF on Tuesday, 12th October 2004 @ 08:21:12 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Tears in the night were shed in vain
No light from the windows from where it came
Filling the room with sorrow and shame

Alone and away, escaping the day
No light to steal my sorrow away
No chance to play with my faded sunny ray

Crying aloud with no one to hear
Screaming inside and shedding my tears
Alone in the world, no one is near

Outside I hear the sounds of rain
Alone on the floor, it is there I lay
Fighting away the shame and the pain

Shakily I crawl to the window near
Weaving in and out of this place I fear
White Roses in the ground, my death is clear

Unknowing I wait and nervously I shake
To chrimson form blue turn tears I make
In the midst of the night I violently shake

Surrounded by thoses who think me a freak
The real world seeks to make me weak
I have no influence that can make me speak
