mommy's letter

Contributed by TiNyOnE on Friday, 15th November 2002 @ 07:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

life was to hard on you.
and you never knew why
your mother left you abandoned after your father had died
you grew up an angry child in a broken home,
you grew up sad, depressed, and alone.
you couldnt understand why you couldnt stay in one place.
foster home after foster home
you never knew home as any such place
many doors were open to you, but as you grew. no one wanted an angry teen as an adopted daughter besides the fact it was you.
you never knew love as a word or feeling expressed.
you never got kisses and hugs as you were sent up to bed
time flew by as older you grew, 18 at age...
still lonely were you....
you didnt find your mother to get the answers you wanted
you never found happiness you were left half, broken hearted.
you started with drinking and slowly moved on to drugs....
you ened up as a manic depressant slowly close to dieing,
every penny you earned was a penny worth denying.
in the end it was so sad, tradgic but true.
everyone that you met knew eventually it would happen to you.
you hung yourself to death, no note was left but your life said enough
on your funeral day, your mother came to say... she was sorry she left and although she couldnt explain her daughters sudden death but knew the truth it was because she never knew of her mothers love or her mothers touch.... it was sad she said that her daughter decided to leave. she put a black rose on her daughters casket and began to read: Sorry my dear child i didnt mean to leave.... i should of came back and claimed what was rightful owned by me... why did you have to die, before i had a chance to explain why.... i was young and after you were born your father died... i couldnt support you the way i wanted to..... although i didnt watch you grow.... i always did think of you.... i shouldnt have to tell you this on your funeral day... but im sorry my baby.... i couldnt stay.... please be happy up in heaven with your daddy... keep the gates open and wait for me..i love you.....your, mommy.
