You look at me and think you know
But there's much more than what I show
Woudn't you just like to see
All the things that lie in me.....
Hidden stairways criss and cross
Walk the path but don't get lost
The garden is the quickest way
Though there is where my secrets play,
Careful where you choose to step
Sharpened teeth will give you pep
Bugs and snakes I hope you like
Chains and whips and shiny spikes,
Flowers die and water's blood
Open caskets lie in mud
Bones are scattered all around
Sticking up and out from ground,
Mangled faces line the walls
Birds of prey wait for their fall
......sure, you may leave, but I'm content
And in no hurry to repent.

I understand the emergance of a darker side ... mine has been revealing its self as well. I enjoyed the write immensely.

That was pretty creepy...but I'm not one to judge. I too have a darker side...but it's hard for me to share because when people read my darker poems...they think I'm psychotic. But anyways...that was a fantastic poem...I hope you write more like it.

| i like the whole trip inside your mind thing, starts of mild and gets darker as you go deeper..good |
