A vision of light, strange, wondering, yet laughing
As if flaunting its brilliance.
Blinded by reason & stopped by light.
Controlled by the ravaging shadows of night.
Show me a picture of pleasantry & I will show you a lie.
So the anger rises.
Expanding over my other emotions.
Having subdued affects on my conscience.
What fading light exists captures me.
I'm struggling with envy & jealousy.
The shroud closes.
What remains?
Is but a shell of tears.
Ponder this oh laughing stars.
You too in time will fade to nothingness.
Your light will be gone and your world void.
