Sometimes in life you catch some luck and
it hits you between the eyes.
That's how I feel when I think of you,
you're my angel in disguse.
You're there for me when I'm feeling low
or when I can't seem to cope.
You shore me up and set me straight, oh
you're much better than a rope.
We grew to be the best of friends and
I'm so lucky in that choice.
We have weathered hard times and the good
even when I had no voice!
I want for you to know that you are
a most special friend to me.
Your smiling face and twinkling eyes let
me know I am not at sea.
When your wings droop, as they sometimes will
just give me a little call.
I'll be there on a rush of wind and
catch you before you fall.
