Looking past the casual looks
Stands a mother's heart
Knowing no end.
Streams of love flow from
Within
Taking time to see her child bare
hardship and pain
that no one could understand.
Tear covered eyes come along
for a child that knew no end
because of a mother's love.
Standing by his side
While in death's stare
Knowing no end.
She loves and cares for her children in
Life's strifes
Praying to God, her love may never fade
As tears fall from her eyes.
Her love abounds more and more
for her children strive.
Taking the time to see the
pain in her children's eyes.
Who will say a mother
knows not,
the hopes and dreams of a child
who has seen and heard and felt
the love of his mother's touch.
Sparrows come and go
but a mother' love will
never let go.
Can't let go of her love
that stood by this child's
life, standing still in
God's hands.
As time faded for a boy
who knew no other love
