Out of torn wrists this crimson flows Release under the light this candle glows As these scars reopen spilling out dreams and internal hatred and deafing screams Yet there you are at the end of this fall Willing to sacrafice your happiness, to risk it all To stand me back up again, back on my feet Im not sure where I would be if we never did meet A chance encouter turned into this Where we dont do stupid things anymore out of bliss. All of those nights spent crying on the phone When I wouldn't have to spend my weekends anymore alone.
We may be a billion miles apart But distance doesn't matter if the friendship is from your heart It's crazy to think that a few years I go we were strangers When my life was filled with hard times, yours filled with anger How once I was to scared to tell you my problems Or to afraid you wouldn't want to help solve them Now I can tell you anything thats a mess And everytime I have a problem you always do your best To help me out, and make it go away And in return I help you to stay And get through these times that are dragging you down Because I hope you know I wont let you drown I'll do everything in my power for you to be okay For us to be friends, for you to stay
Now it's three years later and we've both grown This friendship now...is like an unbreakable stone One that I hope will last through these years Threw every hardship encountered, Through all of our shedded tears. But I have faith, and I hope you do too That we can keep this strong, Because in the end .. I know we'll make it threw.
