Requiem For A Dream
I finally understand
What this all means
This music I hear
That does not
Drown out the screams
But becomes a part of them
When ever I dream
A tormenting melody
That reminds me
Of all that I will never have
Reminding me of all my
Dying dreams
That I can’t hold on to
They are fading too fast
As I fade ever so slowly
I do not know what else to do
I don’t want you to blame yourself
This is no consequence of you
Or anyone but me
I finally understand
What this all means
This music I hear
That does not
Drown out the screams
But becomes a part of them
When ever I dream
