Split

Contributed by senorwoohoo on Saturday, 16th November 2002 @ 12:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Personality split like the yin and the yang,
evil balanced to keep out the pain.
Eyes kept shut to stay in the black,
night is the way to keep us on track.
The light blinds us, the force of the right,
pushing life down until we see night.
Life wasn't like this before the mistake,
but there's only so much a person can take.
Its come to the point I no longer fear death,
as I feel and smell the grim reaper's breath.
Coming to the end of a miserable trek,
I wait for life's waitress to hand me the check.

It's beautiful! It touched me and opened me to pity the person to the point that I wanted to reach out and console them. Keep 'em comin'!!!
