Someone to Die for

Contributed by TwEeK on Saturday, 16th October 2004 @ 08:12:10 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

suicidal pleasure
runs throught his viens

attempted, one time too many
could this day be his last?

only he knows
as he pushs down the hall

the same cuts
cover his skin

repeated
layered

red and infected
inside he cries

head swimming
eyes glazed, crystal sorrow

as he climbs to the top of this mountain
of pain and regret

broken soul
torn heart

noone to love him
for who he is

he has nobody
all alone in this vast universe

all he can do is wait
and hope for release from this hell

you name it, he's tried it
overdose, bleed to death, jumping into traffic, the list gose on.

he steadys himself, on the ledge
as humanity smiles, taunting him, daring him

seemingly thinking
"Goodbye Cruel World"

all his notes, left in the right places
for people to read, and not shed a tear for this broken soul

all that is left,
is the fatal leap

sparking him
beauty casting suicide

tears stream down his face,
he didnt want it to end like this

lying shattered, like his heart
with no one to weep, of his loss

all he wanted,
all he needed

was someone to die for

Awesome write! You almost made me shed a tear there, particularly :

"lying shattered, like his heart
with no one to weep, of his loss

all he wanted,
all he needed

was someone to die for"

You have an amazing talent, keep it up!
