How long do I have to go? How far do I have to reach? I'm getting better, for all this pain can teach. You lead me on, you dropped me off, you held me close, you left me soft. You have no soul or compassion, you killed me slowly, like an assassin.
I just wanted to say, just three words of joy. But I didn't get a chance, because you made a choice. You took the easy way out and left me bare. Do you even care about me? Was I even there?
But I guess now I have to make a choice, one for better or for worse, just give me a chance, but you can't, and it hurts. It hurts like nothing I've ever felt before, isn't love supposed to bring so much more?
Yet, you gave me so much more than I expected. I loved you, I love you. It was my heart that you arrested. I loved you, I love you. All my un-met love really took a toll. I love you, I hate you. Did you even care, do you have a soul? I can't love you, I can't hate you.
Please, don't leave me here, not once more, listen to what I have to say, listen to whats in store. If you could understand me, you wouldnt want me. If you had any idea, you would taunt me. Just go away, and leave me here, I need a chance, to make things clear.
Once more may I ask? What do I do now? What is my task? I ask once more, give me a chance, please, give me a chance. You never know what you missed until its gone, don't let me slip. Can you feel it? My tears drip? Then again, maybe it's for the better, but maybe it's not. Let me have the last dance, please, give me the chance.
