Streetlight dreams, just more time to think. Take another chance, but there's never time to blink. Closed it once and this is where I am, Halfway dead to sun up, and I haven't got a plan.
Trace the path, you'll see in time I'm sure. That nights I can't remember, every word's a blur. If I was meant to see my life, in black and white and gray, Why must every thing I love, fade and die away?
I close my eyes and keep my thoughts lit bright, And I can see my memories that keep away this night. My dreams are something more than me, something ever higher. For when the streetlights fade away, all I see is fire.
