I cried a million tears
That echoes my hearts pain
Felt my life melt away
As I walked numbly through the rain
I found your lost smile
In a puddle on the ground
And heard your laughter whisper
When I knew there was no sound
I felt your hand graze my face
As the tears you wiped away
Then I blinked through the haze
And saw just a rainy day
I saw your heart go running by
And I softly called your name
You blew a sweet kiss my way
But it melted in the rain

This is beautiful.... melancholy beautiful. I'm rather a fan of poems laced with longing and heartache - and this is one of those.
