I never understood the eyes of a broken heart
Standing there in the gloomy night
Pouring her teary eyes
Never took the chance and tried to understand
Gave her my shoulder and walked away
She sits there starring out her window
Crying talking about how shes feeling neglected
Gave him her all
Never took the chance and looked at her
Now shes lost and she doesnt ask why
She gave him her heart
Took it and put it in the dark
Where does she go from here?
She cries for answers
That never seems to be answered
Penetrating for clues to her life
She needs to get back up and fight
He sits there watching TV
Does she exist is all that runs in her mind
Weeps and screams
Nothing but silence
Can she make it?
Will she survive?
Now I understand
The girl with the mysterious eyes
