Sheild me from this pain
Wipe the tears from my face
Help me find a comfort place
Your love is not for me
How can this be
I have never felt this before
But I can't open the closed door
Your eyes can't see
The love that comes from me
The face of someone else
Keeps you from mine
I'm at the end of the line
I can't keep wishing
I can't wait forever
On something that may never
Be what i want
Your lips are with others
but my lips are alone
How long can I pretend
My broken heart must mend....

the pain of a broken heart is the pain that everyone feels, and it's the pain hardest to heal. the worst feeling in the world is sitting next to someone knowing you can't have them...and i feel your pain...
