Is where the old die
Where the snapshots, the memoirs
No longer drift by.

Where the dust settles
Is where the rot feasts
Upon ideas and passions
Long now deceased.

Where the dust settles
Is where we did part...
Where the dust settles
Is on my derelict heart.

good write. i think ive read too much about the great depression, because all i could think of while reading this was the dust bowl...
