Murder Of Crows

[this is meant to be read fast...]

The room turns pitch black
I can not be afraid
But fear is embedded in me
I do not fight what is about to happen
But i simply embrace it
In hope the fear will vanish
Not to know what will happen next
But my heart still pumps harder...

No longer afraid of anything
The light comes slowly back on
The fear is rejuvenated
Stronger than before
And my breaths are heavier with every breath
I turn around to see my surroundings
I see a person with his / her back turned
Dressed in a red drenchcoat with the hood covering the head
The person says "Do not fear me for i am everywhere"
The person slowly starts to turn towards me
But the light...

The light dissappears once more right before i got to see the face
Only seconds after the lights were on again
To see a single black crow infront of me
I turn to run but only to see my destany
A murder of crows

Very different...has an abstract kind of appeal though. Only thing I'd say to change is the wording of the 5th line of the 2nd stanza, perhaps find a different word, or a better way of saying what you wish without using breaths twice. Otherwise a pretty good poem. :)

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
