my wife
for 57 years you have been my wife
and i know today without you i would had no life
your love and affection you gave every day
is something ill treasure everyday
your touch'your kiss'your smile' your love
are things i thank you and god above
we shared many great times
good and bad
we laughed when we were happy
we cried when we were sad
you cared for our children which there were two
and your dedication to them was more than anyone knew
you worked hard to make end meet
and there were times that was not an easy feat
many places we travelled
many things we have donea
and when you were with me it was always fun
now that we are older i want to say
that ill care for you and love you
until my dying day
