A Single Tear

I wake in the night, and see his beautiful face resting on my shoulder.
He looks so peaceful, like an angel.
My angel, and mine alone.
I want to wake him, I want to feel his sweet kiss...but he
looks so much like an angel that I don't want to wake him up.
I take his hand and place it against mine, inter twinning our fingers I smile and kiss his foreahead softly, I whisper "I love you."
Curling up next to him, I close my eyes, and listen to him breathe...
How could I be so lucky?
I have done nothing to deserve someone so special, and adorable.
Nothing at all, but yet some how I have been blessed.
I can't wait until he awakes...I can see his crystal blue eyes, and feel his sweet lips upon my skin, and his loving arms wrapped around me, whispering sweet nothings into my ear.
He awakes, I smile as he kisses my forehead softly, he wraps his arms around me, placing his head upon mine.
A din buzzing sound goes off, it's my alarm clock, I open my eyes, and turn it off, I look around for my angel, but he's gone.
I start to panic and cry, then I realize it was just a dream.
I sigh and curl up with my teddy bear.
I look out my window into the darkness, as a single tear runs down my cheek.

| the first part is so sweet, i really like it, it is ashame it is only a dream for dreams like that you never want to awake from. one day though i hope you will live your dream, you deserve it |

it's funny how you have posted this one up...i found my angel no less than a week ago.
he's perfect for me, but i don't deserve him, and he doesn't want me like that any way!
so he left me back inside the hurt and pain living back inside my emotional night mare. i wish he was with me, but he's never gonna be!
... and where you put ''I look out my window into the darkness; that has really captued what my life is like for me.
