The morning after the night before,
Has come a rapping on my door,
Heads full of hammering little men,
Dont want to ever drink alcohol again.
I felt good last night as I went to bed,
Now all I have is a pain in my head,
Every little noise seems loud like thunder,
Will I feel human again I wonder?
Oh how I hate to feel like this,
Maybe I can get rid of it if I wish?
Ive been wishing all day but here it stays,
I dont think itll budge for the rest of the day.
Eyes feel tired like Ive had no sleep,
Feel like collapsing into a great, big heap,
Whoever created hangovers needs a good slap,
After a great time I always feel so crap.
Oh how I wish I didnt drink so much,
But I was enjoying the feel of alcohols touch,
Now I regret enjoying myself,
As now in ill feeling I have so much wealth.

Oh can I relate to that, I avoided hangovers by waking up with hang-ons ( still inebriated ) but they always seem to catch up to ya, huh ?
Another nice life write Pixie, certainly relatable.

very well written and true, i only drink once in a blue moon, like average once a year, but i know the bite, had to laugh at your giving the person who created hangovers a slap lol, hugs n' love nessa
