What is your problem?
you hate me for no reason
you call me a poser
when i'm just doing what feels right
you loathe me
because i'm just like you
you try and steer me away
from what I love
try to control
my musical tastes
sending messengers
saying 'You cant listen to slipknot
or somebodys going to get mad'
like i care
i'll listen to what I want
you approval is irrevelent
i don't have to please you
besides, you'd never accept me
for who i wanted to be anyways
you're never happy with who i am
and you'd never accept me anyway
you hate me too much
and i'd never do anything right in your eyes
so forget you
and forget me
because its my life
and i'll live it how i want
because i don't care what you think

| I love it!!!! I was always told that I couldn't do what other people did. Some of that was because I'm an african american but most of the time it was because other people just didn't want to think about me doing some of the same things they did. They thought they were better then me and if I did what they did, then I was trying to be like them. No one can tell you what to do when its something that you want to do. Be yourself and forget those other people. Great Write!!!! |

Ive seen this happen waay too much in my school. It's a pretty pathetic sight when the insecure wannabes try to tell someone else how to be. (and it usually is the insecure wannabes.) If these people were really so sure of themselves, and truly believed that they were the 'real thing' then they would give a s*** about what you do with your time. Do what you need to do. It's your life, your world, you call the shots.
