As time goes by I often find
My thoughts become more clear
I sit and think about the things
I did through out the years
When looking back I wonder
If there were anything I would change
Its like looking through a book
And my life is on every page
I see a chapter on places
That I have been able to know
A blank page on the right
For places still to go
I see a chapter called mistakes
It pretty plain to see
All the mistakes were ones
That was mistakes all made by me
The next chapter I come upon
Is the one called lessons learned
Its in this one I found out
Respect is something earned
The chapter titled Love
Is filled with joy and pain
Its something I have learned to give
In order to enjoy the gain
I notice as I try to leaf
Through the pages of my book
The chapters that are missing
Are the roads I never took
I try to race to the ending
To see how my life turns out
To be continued..... Is what it said
A masterpiece I have no doubt.
