Soon they arrived at Playston home that day, and Morley gave his host a treasured prize. A blade from place where Ashkelon doth lay, a knife where seen tall minaret gives rise. Prince James then gazed at yataghan's curved size, not having seen the Saracenic steel. Duke told of high minar's man shouting cries to faithful people bending low to kneel. But Christian knights would stay that infidelic zeal.
To great north gatehouse James did Morley lead, whereto ensconced him safe and gave him wine. Duke Morley's steed in stable they did feed, with curry comb groom made his coat to shine. Stephanus Marcus climbed the tower stairs, to take respite where other nobles stayed. Above the pantry keeping meats and wares, man made his home with knights of highest grade. In time their glowing stories, battles they would trade.
