I would've submitted to you
given you my all
that little girl inside
made you seem so very tall.
I could've healed through you
given you the look
but with you....that little girl
never manipulated nor mistook.
I should've reavealed myself to you
given you the green
but now the little girl
is left alone in the scene.
I would've fallen to my knees for you
given you her soul
broken little girl inside
with innocent lofty goals.
I could've lain alive with you
given you the nine
but the little girl is hiding now
while you think she'll be just fine.
I should've left it all for you
given no offer to partake
little girl lost her last chance
it was all or nothing without a stake.

this is a great poem.....so sweet yet so very sad as well. it reminds me of how i feel sometimes and i've never been able to put it into words so thank you for doing so....great read!!!!
