THE DAY YOU LEFT IT BROUGHT PAIN THAT YOU CANNOT SEE
I LOOKED UP TO YOU, I TRUSTED YOU AND YOU BETRAYED ME
NOT ONLY HURTING ME, BUT THE LITTLE ONES AND MOM
YOU TAKE THE KIDS TO HAVE FUN AND PLAY
YOU DONT CALL ME OR VISIT ME AND THATS NOT OKAY
YOU HURT ME, YOU LIED AND YOU CONTINUE TO
YOU DONT THINK YOU ARE, BUT ITS ALL TRUE
I TRY TO BELIEVE YOU BUT YOU HAVE BEEN LYING FROM THE START
YOU DONT SEEM TO CARE THAT YOU TORE OUR FAMILY APART
YOU FOUND SOMEONE NEW AND SO DID MOM
EVEN THOUGH ME AND YOUR FRIEND DONT GET ALONG
MY RELATIONSHIP WITH MOM AND HER FRIEND IS GROWING STRONG
HE IS NOT TRYING TO TAKE YOUR PLACE AT HOME OR IN MY HEART
HE IS BRINGING IN JOY AND WE ARE ALL GETTING A NEW START
YOU HAD YOUR CHANCE, YOU BLEW IT FOR YOURSELF
AND NOW A NEW BOOK IS ON OUR SHELF
