SOMEONE TO BELIEVE IN

Contributed by Evilnn on Saturday, 23rd October 2004 @ 03:31:35 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Well the time has come
It's time to go home
But where do I go
What do I do
I feel so alone

Mom says, come on
You can stay over here
Thankyou Mom
But I'm so out of place there

I don't even feel comfortable
In my own skin
How do I explain
Where do I begin

I have never felt as though I belong
Why am I so weak
Why can't I be strong

I just want it all to end
When you open your heart
To what you thought was a friend
Only to be betrayed
Your whole life begins to fade

Again my heart has been broken
It will never be the same
I don't know how long
I can deal with this pain

I never wanted to hurt anyone
Sorry I've been here so long
But things will get better
For soon I'll be gone

Please believe me when I say
All will be better when I'm not here
Please try to forgive me
And shed only one tear.

Deeply written... we all need to write to let our feelings out. Keep the ink flowing.... it helps..
Welcome to YPDC..the best poetry site on the net...

Wonderfully written. Poetry is such a blessing. It sure
helps to cement your emotion. Makes it real, so you can deal with it.
I really liked this, but especially...

"I don't even feel comfortable
In my own skin
How do I explain
Where do I begin
"

I think a lot of us can relate to that.
Keep up the great work.
