Grim Reaper

Topic: DarkPoetry

Beware! The Grim Reaper
Known as Death lurks everywhere
He's watching you
He is standing at your shoulder
Waiting for you to make a deadly mistake
So beware at work and at play or crossing the street
The Grim Reaper is watching you
The Grim Reaper likes to prey on young and old alike
He smiles to himself when he sees a small boy
pick up a loaded gun to go and play with his friends
He hangs around battle fields where young me die
He holds hands with the old pulling them closer
Mr. Death is a part of life
If you are lucky it is peaceful
If you are not so lucky
Death can bring horror and untold sorrow
So beware when you get a cold chill for no apparent reason
It is the Reaper passing so very near
I feared death at one time until I realized
I have nothing to fear for Iam Death
