Once, so long ago
There was a story to be told
But all that was lost when I had to go
And I can't remember anything
Once, so long ago
I fought so hard to be seen
But now I don't know what to believe
And I have fallen and lost my way
If there was a time I could recall
A time before I took the fall
I would go there
I would tell myself to take it slow
To take a breath let my feelings show
I would go there
Once, so long ago
I lived for someone that wasn't kind
And in my mind I was blind
I couldn't see that I was not the one
I was nothing and nothing was fun
But that was then and this is now
I will return and show the world somehow
That I am something more than I was
That I am nothing like before
Nothing like before
Once, so long ago
Once, so long ago
I was, so young and blind
Life, was yet undefined
I will, come back someday
I will, show the way
