The Wait...

Contributed by searchingforlove on Sunday, 24th October 2004 @ 09:54:17 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

With eyes like warm pools of light
Encrusted upon the smooth round face like jewels, surrounded by the falling wisps of brown silk
Voice like a distant chiming of bells.

Her strange sense of maturity is sensed by those closest to her.
She is a subtle blend of creativity and intelligence

Surrounded by the golden warmth of family and friends
Yet her soul drowns in an ocean of her own sorrow
Yearning to be set free.

Her need greater than her want
that leaves her eyes scanning the path of destiny in search of her rescuer
A passion so great that it speaks for her stunned silence.

Yet she patiently waits
But will this wait ever be over
