I am lving in a world, no, a culture, of conformity,
there is a plan already mapped out for me.
I grow old in a routine that is my predecided fate,
and I can honestly say it is one I am beginning to hate.
There are no dreams to be had these days,
dreaming isn't condoned, its only a childhood phase.
I am fighting so hard to break out of the mold,
but soon it'll be too late, my story will have already been told.
So please let me be ALIVE, God knows I try,
because to be a part of this society my dreams, my hopes, and my soul
must die!

| The only way to stay alive is to DREAM. Once we give up our dreams, then we just live inside an external shell. I know that you are a vibrant person and feel that you are the type of person that won't die without a fight. So pick up the pieces of a bad situation and then strive to relearn those dreams that you were about to toss away. I know you can do it! |

dreaming is what keeps us sane and they can come true and thats when u don't let others smash them into pieces.
I was voted class daydreamer in high school and to this day is still a dreamer. |
