This is for you Blue eyed girl who saw right through me I wasn't any better Not older, not wiser, just your equal
You know who you are Brown eyed boy who pulled off my mask and saw me how I was meant to be seen
And somewhere out there Are you listening with a smile? And now that you look back Did I make that time worthwhile?
I hope I did I owe you both so much And I swear I'll pay you back Next time we all go out, we're going dutch
This is for you Blue eyed girl who saw right through me I wasn't any better Not older, not wiser, just your equal
You know who you are Brown eyed boy who pulled off my mask and saw me how I was meant to be seen

Wow - A poem about a relationship that ended where one is actually not upset. Yet, instead looks back with thanks and appreciation. A taste that I, myself have not come to acquire. I enjoyed reading it. Good job. (^_^)b |
