Lost and alone, No hope for comfort with infidelity as a bed fellow. A hollow shell, a shadow of a man, Where once dwelt a happy soul. Temptation at every fixed gaze, Opportunity presents itself with every half smile, And then there she was.
English Rose no less. That a solitary chance meeting could hold the key. The key to the happiness of a man, Not any man, but ME!!!
A beauty so profound, Mother Nature curses her hand, For none before or since shall compare. A voice so sweet, As to silence the birds from their song. A Heart so fair, That would render our reformed hero defenceless.
Naught but a chance, A chance at love. A chance was enough, Now that a new world beckoned, From a forgotten past, He would reclaim it as his own
To be continued..
