My mum walked out last night. Leaving my brother and I in the cold. I prayed for her to never come back. My dads not around much these days. Next year will be different, I'm gonna leave this place for good. Say goodbye, I'm gone forever. As long as I live I'll never talk again. Everything's better when mums not home, I can go about my life in peace. Away from the questions, Away from the answers. "I'm alright mum, I swear." Lying through blind eyes. Bleeding through broke hopes. Dreaming on an empty thought. Living a timeless age. Walking in the blind, Scuffing my feet on life's edges, Bumping into the darkness. Surviving without you.
