The fear of the unknown
Holds a person to a T.
The tongue will not
Rise against another human,
Rank with the error
Of his/her ways.
Did the eyes not absorb
The events that
Burden the soul?
No.
Nor did the ear pick up
The slightest vibration
Of beguilement.
So the back turns
Without a sense of hesitation.
Giving the dasturdly deed
The benefit of the doubt
