Do It Again?

How many people would actually start from the beginning if they could?
I would change a lot, if I got the chance to do it again.
I would be nicer to my grandparents and be a better daughter.
I would finish high school and be able to make something of myself.
I would decide what I want to do with my life and then do it.
I would stay away from the temptations that life brings.
After I had achieved most of my goals, I would work on making a family.
Once I had found my mate and made my family, I would live my life to the fullest.
Sounds good right?
REALITY CHECK
No one can start from the beginning and do it again.
My life is already made and the past cant be changed.
I never finished high school and wasnt a good daughter.
I have no idea what I want to do with my life.
I was weak and fell into temptation.
Got caught up with the idea that sex brought happiness. Boy was I wrong.
I was mixed up with the wrong set of kids, one got me pregnant, and when it got heated I left.
I fell into the hands of an older man, which seemed good in the beginning.
It is amazing how a little piece of paper can change everything.
I married this man and spent about 3 yrs. having babies and being a live in punching bag.
Now I am in hiding with 3 daughters, scared for my life and not able to make a living without help from others.
DO IT AGAIN?
NOW WAY IN HELL!!!
I chose my path and the only thing I can do, is focus on the future, so I can make something out of this *****ty life.
Not many would do it again.
Neither would I, with out all of this bad luck, I wouldnt have my 3 angels helping me through hell.
So ask yourself. Would you do it again?
