Your Love is a Candle

Contributed by mysticpoet on Friday, 29th October 2004 @ 02:08:19 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

There's nothing that can keep you away from me,
not wind, nor fire, not raging sea.
Not distance, time, nor friend or foe,
Your love shines the way, I can see it's glow.

Your love's like a candle whose flame never dies.
It's a comforting touch, a word, a sigh.
It's a promise kept, a smile, a caress.
It's the look in your eye, it's your loving kiss

Love finds a way to connect two hearts,
Brings two together so theyll never part.
Love shows two people a love that's true,
Brings to their lips the words "I love you."

Your love is a candle that guides me to you.
Forever and always, I'll be in love with you.

"Forever and always, I'll be in love with you."
How very beautiful this piece is. These exact words were said to me once in life and I shall never forget them.

Blessed be,
Rita
