You're coming back home, if only for awhile
To know I will see you again makes me smile
I swore those words would be my last
But I can't let go of a promising past
Many a time you've been in my dreams
Your ignorance isn't quite what it seems
I can easily sense when you are near
It doesn't take words to tell you I'm here
Our minds are in tune, as well as our hearts
Though I felt you tore me apart
I know how you were crumbling inside
But I know I could make your soul fly
I asked you to remember, I'm not sure you forgot
Have you found another? I would hope not
You're a ghost from my past, but one that I love
I want to dance with you in the stars above
I know you'll always heal broken wings
You've healed so many other things
You're my one and only, I know this is true
All this to me... am I still that to you?
