Weeping Willow

Contributed by Sirena_Degana on Friday, 29th October 2004 @ 07:16:50 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Your fragile,
like glass.
I'll hold you like silk.
And keep you like wine.
I won't break your unmended soul.
Like a shy spider you creep.
In my arms you weep.
Dry your tears with my dress.
And covered in your blood,
I pray,
To see you happy,
to feed your heart.
With this block on your face,
I cannot see you.
With this barrier between us,
I cannot help you.
Trust me darling,
I'm here to stay.
I will not fall,
Your dolefully wanted,
and betrayingly kept.
In the shadow of your past,
you struggle to stand up.
You lie in my arms,
eating away the pain.
You lie alone,
in your puddle of misery.
Holding onto the doubt,
and the hurt she blessed you with.
Kissed by a devil.
Mislead by a coil of pain.
Trust me my love,
things will never be the same.
