Once, twice, three times defied
Scarred by a fake, knowing you lied
Thought I knew you, proved myself wrong
Eyes damp as I write this love song
Loved someone I never truly knew
Fell for your act, you left no clue
Ripped this heart free from a love so deep
But it wasnt love
Never love
Not love if its not returned
Why cant someone hold me
Heard fantasies of love to be
Swept off my feet by none but he
But its all just a lie
Why cant you ever see
How this love was meant to be
Willing me to run free
But I just crumble and cry, cry, cry
I crumble and cry
Youll never know I lived for you
You pulled me out of the blue
Lived on a feeling, called it love
Never knew that I wasnt enough
Cant describe this hurt, its too late
Wont take me back, its written in fate
Thought I met someone I loved
But it wasnt love
Never love
Not love if it isnt returned
Why cant someone hold me

Not old enough to feel this devotion
Is it stupid to bring up the notion?
