Snoopy

Topic: PetPoems

I know he was very old
But he was loved for so long
Maybe thats what kept him going
Knowing he was loved
So why did he die
I just want to cry
But I dont
I just want to let loose
But I hold it in
Sorry snoopy
Wish I was there for you
You left me without saying bye
Its been four hours since I found you that way
Now its hitting me more now
Tears forming in my eyes
Still waiting to bury you
And I'm sorry for that too
But now you're free
I'll see you later

I always grieve when I lose one of my beloved furbabies. I believe it was Will Rogers that said "if animals don't go to heaven when they die, then I want to go where they go when I die." I feel the exact same way.

My heart breaks for you because I know your pain. "Animals" the words doesn't do them justice. For those of us who love them, they're family (our kids). I am truly sorry for your loss. Just think of Snoopy at Rainbow Bridge. It sounds like a wonderful place... Go a head and cry, it's easier than holding it in. And better for you too. God Bless.
