'' Love ''

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Love
Once I mused love and hate
Wondered what each might be?
Then I saw without a doubt
Its all in what you see!
Love never changes
Tho tis hard for humans to believe
Hate is naught but love obscured
In clouds of misery
Seen thru the human heart
Shades of emotion may disguise
The purity and perfection of love
To none but human eyes
Therefore hate shall not reside
Within this man you see
For love allows my heart to view
Even the joy in misery
For in love I was created
In love I was conceived
In love I was forgiven
In love I was believed!
Let not hate deceive you
For tis naught but evil in disguise
Seeking to imprison hearts
Within misery and lies!
Let your hearts learn forgiveness
Tis loves salve for your pain
Then you'll see clearly
Over hate love will always reign!
Russ Pergram
This is a truly profound write, Russ.
Love is forgiveness. Beautifully written.
Though I can't see through the spelling mistakes,
they kind of make the poem less than it could be.
Just a tad. lol.
