This is me ~ I am surreal
I perform vision dances
as free as the air I'll reveal
under me as I move
Star-gazing, I appeal to the moon
I paint watercolors
that dry too soon
but that's just the way I am
I care nothing for material things
I'd rather be bare
with my invisible wings
uninhibited from what you think of me
I am fragile ~ I want to stay that way
I drink my decaffinated herbal tea
as I move in harmony
with passionate wind
in my hair
This is me ~ I am surreal
I care not
about what you feel
when I am unclothed with electrical flair
I thrive in your lustful stare
and I'm quite sure you want to eat me alive
but I won't let you this time
because it's all about me...

| What struck me most about this poem is the ethereal,carefree feel you put into it. Your good choice of words makes for really beautiful poetry. :) |
