Covert Assassination of a Teenager

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

She took a bullet and smeared it across her lips, (her lipstick was red) like the blood that flows from the hole in my head, the bullet shot from her lips, during our last kiss, and she never misses (and she never missed), perfect looks means perfect aim, and her license is look to kill,
shes the hunter and im the game,
she has empty shells instead of lip balm,
i have a target on my chest,
with a crosshair on my heart,
i do sympathy, but pity i cant do, your giving me the worst lies i have witnessed,
dont worry girl, you were never good at disguises, and i was good at reading between the lines,
you should thank those stars you wish upon, so mine will never come true, my heart is sewn on my arm, worn like a bruise or scar, and it shows despite these sleeves,
it means i once believed everything you said,
breaking records on how long iv avoided you,
and now im bleeding lead,
writing letters that wont reach you and you wont read,
but writing farewells to plane wrecks is the new trend and the next big thing,
she took me down and said "dont waste your breath" and i complied with hesitation, cause im going nowhere fast, girl you better pray, that my hope kills you before my expectations, cause then next in line are my wishes not made with good intentions.
And all i need to know is that im somthing you would be missing, would you notice if i was missing?
no, you wouldnt
torn up and ripped apart, just like this wrist that is wrapped in gauze,
we dragged the ruins of past mistakes, and had the autopsy on a public display,
this is me gutting you open on this stage, its brutally effecient, unusual and sadistically cruel just like you,
dont drive off bridges, come burn them with me, and we can go down in flames,
we rode this love to its bitter end, this song is for you,
with its boring choursus and butchered verses, and its only side one, wait till you hear side 2,
im taking my chances on the hope that you will notice me, your the last good thing i know about, the one thing in this mediocre town,
"i can promise speed and precision" she smiled, and i couldnt speak, i was sedated, "I read about death after life, and i was doomed" is as pathedic as me, drove this block and this town has been circled all night, like your smile, but tonight is now all about how i love you, ill be searching for the words i cant say,
when i find them, ill send you the notes from this sinking ship, this wrecked plane,
everything we have in common is now forgotton, im lost in the translation,
i cant speak mixed signals and hard to get, my apoligies are no longer free, like your laugh,
i hope these pebbles break your window, so i wont need to find a cinder block, im the trash that litters at the last dance, and my imagination is making this even worse, i walk this thin red line, falling into either regret or success, and my best still isnt enough, yea not even close by myself, if your through with me then leave, i know boys like me try too hard, you give temptation such a good name, and your an expert on putting lust to shame

Lord, that was friggin amazing...I'm putting money on Grand Theft Autumn, and Post Cards from a Plane Wreck (or something like that) but definitly inspired by some Fall Out Boy...This really hits home for me...cuz it kinda seems as if I'm going through this now, just I'm really not sure...Anyway, man, this song was amazing, awesome, brilliant, just...I don't think I could come up with any words to do justice to this song
