Last Tear

Each new night Brings with it something new. Tonight has brought despair In my heart, And tears roll down my face. This face, which you once touched With so much love Now has become a temple For pain and loneliness. Your voice does not make This gentle heart quiver With love anymore. It now shakes and trembles At the sight of the emptiness That was you. The heart and soul sigh, And out of the sigh Appears your name, And out of my eye rolls My last tear.
