Hopelessly he tries to save it,
Endlessly he pushes against it,
But lifes expiration has began,
And it will not stop for one man.
He thought he would defeat his death
And strike a blow to God Himself,
But he didnt realize
It was written he would die.
The life that once ran energetic
Through his body and his mind
Now with dread fills his every cell
And death whispers from inside.
