one small candle
lit in a watery room
trying to keep the flame
struggling for its own
one butterfly
struggling against the hurricane
fighting for some space
looking for a friend
one star
in a deep, dark sky
faintly beaming
its beauty hiding deep in layers of blue velvet
yet still there
one red rose
buried in a garden of black
discovery waiting
different from the others

| This is beautiful, almost has an eastern mysticism to it. I love the feeling of one small thing part of a bigger hole, just stuggling to exist. Simply sublime. |
