If I could see grief
Written on your face
Maybe a crystal tear
It would be a sign from grace
If I could see you cry
Tears that could imitate rain
Maybe then I would know
That you feel bad for my pain
If I could watch you fade
Fade away from humanity
Then and only then
Could I regain some sanity
If only you'd show me,
For once, that you cared
Maybe then I'd quit crying
And stop being so scared
