Men nailed Him to the Cross
But they could not kill His Spirit
He took our shame from our eyes
He uplifted us in our spirits
He asked God to forgive us
When He gave Himself up as a
Holy Sacrifice
Tormented and betrayed,
He chose the Will of the Father
And layed down His Life
Powerful and Glorious
Is the Love of Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ gives me
Spiritual love daily
Jesus Christ gave all sinners
The most wondrous gift of Love
A Living Sacrifice
I want to be nearer to Jesus Christ
And further from the ways of the world
I want to lose my sinful life
By being born again
Through the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is in all
Who are willing to accept it
The Holy Spirit is for me
I thank You,
Lord Jesus,
Your Spirit watches over me
