Ignorance (No Eyes)

Tired of your selfishness
and sick to death
of your ignorance.
All of you
have your noses
pointed to the sky,
a mask over
your eyes,
and an empty space
where your hearts
should be.
Your words come out
with no thought to them,
your ignorance
and greed
are not even visible
to your own eyes.
It sickens
and annoys me
to hear you whine
and complain-
not once,
but twice,
about having to give.
None of you are poor,
you all have something
to give,
why is it so hard,
do you really need
something in return?
You're deaf!
Time and time again
you must be told:
you shouldn't need something
in return for giving.
You can choose to
give or not-
whichever one is fine,
but if you are
choosing not to,
don't cry to everyone
that you won't give
because it's "unfair"
that you're not gaining anything.
The only gain
you should need
is the satisfaction
in your heart,
knowing you've helped.
But you, of course,
are too blind to see...
